  • Thank you for a Great 2015 National Shrimp Festival! Join Us October 13th – 16th for the 45th Annual National Shrimp Festival!

The Annual National Shrimp Festival presented by Zatarain’s and sponsored in part by our wonderful sponsors, is held each year during the second full weekend in October on the beautiful beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama. Thanks to our all of our generous sponsors the event is FREE to everyone! The Annual National Shrimp Festival is held at the public beach access in Gulf Shores where Hwy. 59 ends and intersects with Hwy. 182.

The festival is one of the nation’s premier outdoor festivals attracting 250,000 people, featuring over 300 vendors that offer fine art, arts & crafts, a retail marketplace, outdoor village, and of course, SHRIMP!! Two stages offer continuous musical entertainment while the little one’s attention is captured in the Children’s Activity Village where they create their own “art” and participate in other fun-filled activities.

This year we enjoyed the 3rd Annual Shrimp Festival Singing for Scholarships which took place Saturday on the west stage. This contest  featured the best of the best youth talent from Baldwin County, AL.

Want to know which local restaurants to eat at? The Flora-Bama Yacht Club was announced the winner of our 8th Annual Restaurant Challenge.

We had a great turn out for the family friendly sand sculpture contest. This was held on Saturday Oct. 10th. Prizes included cash and trophies!

There is something for everyone at the festival. Go ahead and book your stay today! See you in October!
